The padlock bridge- paris. . . Or is it a metal toss?
What is this thing even called? As far as I know this is a wonderful eyesore that I hope never goes away. Apparently there is a bridge over the Seine River in Paris where couples inscribe their initials or names and anniversaries on a padlock the attach it to the bridge. The next bright idea is to throw the key over into the river. I have two problems with this. 1) what if you break up and take your next bf/gf to the bridge and hello! There are you and your Ex's padlock bright and shining on the fence for all to see. Ouch. If you are going to put a padlock above the river which I btw think is adorable. At least keep the key! Make a necklace, put it in a locket, give it a pretty box. But don't throw it out! Unless there's a ring on that finger, keep it. 2) there are animals in that river! you want them to choke on your love sick hunk of metal? Call me weird but I don't want to be having a romantic walk along the river and look down and see a duck croak. That's just cruelty. The moral of this is, keep the key to yoself.

Valentines since December??
Since when has Valentines day gotten pushed so far back that Target and Walmart are already having valentines day things taking over their store and plastering that infernal color pink everywhere! It was December for crying out loud! Let
Christmas lie to rest first! It wasn't even the new year. As I walked by the stands of pink and red cards, I couldnt help but remember that my very cliche 1 year anniversary is almost Here! Yaaay! Haha anyways, I couldn't help but notice the beautiful amazing Papyrus cards that took up a whole row. I can't believe that they are all recycled and done by hand. So pretty. Don't judge me, but I already bought like those packs of valentine cards for my friends. It's not those Kim possible ones like in elementary, they are legit ones but they still come in packs. Good thinking! Adults like cards too!
I was a weird child. When all the other kids only wanted their candy on valentines day, I actually liked looking through the cards and judging which one was the best. That habit has grown up with me and now I have before me packs of valentines and stickers to seal the envelopes with ^_^ is it wrong that I want to make them already? I think not. I think that the problem lies with the stores that think they can just start holiday earlier just because they want. Who the heck besides me buys valentines day stuff in December? Pssh. Weirdos.
So much to do before the fateful day of the 14th! More cards to buy, presents to buy, and clashing outfits to put together for school. Shame on you Walmart and target for stressing me out!
